It’s a Nautical Life

I will admit I have a severe obsession with stripes, especially navy ones. Always have and always will. Of course when most people think of navy stripes they think nautical. And the nautical life is certainly a breezy, relaxing one – or at least that’s how I picture it in my head. I may live close to the water, but certainly haven’t spent an inordinate amount of time on it!

Stripes can be fun and full of whimsy, perfect for a casual affair. Stripes can also be vintage and rustic, reminding people of simpler times. And lastly, stripes can be very regal and formal. Change up the color, size and direction and you can bounce between the three scenarios quite easily.
