So, I recently picked up a new habit and I know I am not alone in my addiction. Pinterest, you little devil, you. For those of you who are not familiar with the site, it is a virtual pinboard. You sign up through Facebook or Twitter and follow your friends, you can also follow bloggers, companies or randoms. You can see what the community is pinning and create as many boards as you want about practically anything! A truly amazing concept!
Pinterest is two things…
One: an inspiring, magical world of beautiful things you can save and file away for reference like photos, designs, recipes, fashion, diy crafts, home decor – oh, how I could go on!
Two: Pinterest is a time warp, a black hole, a place where hours go by like minutes and you look up bleary eyed from staring at your computer screen to realize almost two hours have passed…and what exactly did you do?
Good {or bad?} thing for me is I have way too much fun to worry about the second one. One of my latest favorite things to do on Pinterest is read the hilarious, inspiring and touching quotes people often pin. I especially love to read the funny ones to my husband. He doesn’t get how I can spend so much time on a website, but he does immensely enjoy those witty one-liners!
